Basement Lore

Ya know, Mom’s basement is where the kids in Stranger Things go to play Dungeons and Dragons, and its where a lot of real life folks play the game too, so it seemed fitting to call our ttrpg (table top role playing game) business “Mom’s Basement” after that nostalgic feeling of escaping the everyday for a chance to slay a dragon or two.

We built this whole thing as a house, no, a home. Think of us as that slightly questionable house at the end of the street, it’s the one with the purple door and Halloween decorations that stay up year round. You, the kids, come over and play games in the basement and once in a while you can also get crafty with your Aunt Lassie who hosts oodles of art projects out of the garage apartment… get it… were all here in one big house.

We hope that you have a fun time when you come over and that you feel welcomed, accepted and seen. We aim to offer inclusive gaming and crafting adventures that leave you feeling like you have a safe third place to land.
